Applications

ALOS-SILI-118  is used as metal release agent, offering exceptional release performance without interfering with subsequent surface treatments such as printing, embossing, or painting. In addition, it can also be used as:

• Lubricating Base Oil: It provides excellent lubrication and can be used in challenging scenarios, such as lubrication between stainless steel and titanium. It is also suitable as a lubricant for aluminum machinery without requiring boundary lubricant additives. In addition, its compatibility with synthetic resins makes it an effective additive for improving the boundary lubricity of plastic products.
• Fiber and Yarn Lubricant: In its pasty solid form, it can be mixed with paraffin to act as a lubricant for fibers and yarns or as a processing aid for melt spinning.
• Hydrophobic Agent: It can reduce the pour point of crude oil and enhances the impact resistance of polypropylene.
• Skincare and Haircare Ingredient: When incorporated into formulations, it improves lubricity, spreadability, occlusive properties, and hair conditioning performance.

Packaging

The product is available in 180kg plastic drums. Custom packaging options are also available upon request.

Storage and Shelf Life

Store the product in a sealed container in a cool, dry place. The shelf life is 2 years.
