Product Description

INCI: PEG-12 Dimethicone

ALOS-SILI-150 is a hydrolysis-stable polyether-grafted surfactant with an HLB value of 12. It is soluble in water, ethanol, and aqueous alcohol systems and can be added to hot mixtures at temperatures up to 90°C. It functions as:

• Emulsifier: Effective even at low dosage.
• Foaming Agent: Produces stable and dense foam.
• Plasticizer for Hair-Styling Resins: Enhances hair with a soft, silky feel.

Applications

• It is widely used in personal care products such as hair sprays and other leave-in hair care products, shampoos, skincare lotions, shaving creams, etc.
• Recommended Usage: 0.1-5%.

Packaging

Available in 20L and 200L iron drums. Custom packaging is also available upon request.

Storage and Shelf Life

• When stored below 11°C, ALOS-SILI-150 may appear cloudy and solidify into a soft wax due to the characteristics of silicone-ethylene glycol copolymers. It can be reheated to liquefy, and repeated solidification-melting cycles will not affect the product quality.
• Store in a sealed container in a cool, dry place. Avoid contact with acids, alkalis, and open flames.
• Shelf life: 12 months.
