INCI Name: Cyclopentasiloxane (and) Caprylyl dimethicone ethoxy glucoside (and) Dimethicone crosspolymer

This product is a blend of caprylyl dimethicone ethoxy glucoside, dimethicone crosspolymer, and cyclopentasiloxane, and acts as emulsifier with excellent W/Si emulsifying capabilities. It appears as a transparent gel and features the unique silky touch and wrinkle-masking properties of an elastomer gel. The glucose modification provides self-emulsifying properties, making it particularly suitable for moisturizing creams and water-release cream formulations, with good formulation stability.

Applications

This product can be used in high-end skincare and moisturizing products with excellent water retention, and water-release cream products.

Usage

• When used alone, it is recommended to first disperse it evenly with various oils, then slowly add the aqueous phase in portions under high-speed stirring and shear dispersion.
• When blended with other ingredients, it can be dispersed in compatible oils before being added to the oil phase, or added in the later stage of emulsification.
• When heating, the process should be done in a sealed container, and the heating time should not be too long to avoid the volatilization of cyclopentasiloxane.
• The recommended operating temperature should not exceed 60 °C to prevent the volatilization of cyclopentasiloxane.

Recommended Usage: The recommended dosage is 1-20% (based on the total formulation).
