Silicone water repellent for masonry surfaces (ALOS-SILI-207) is an aqueous solution of potassium methyl siliconate. It appears slightly yellowish and is water-dilutable. Designed for impregnating mineral construction materials, it renders them water-repellent without significantly affecting their water vapor permeability. Its water-repellent properties are activated through a reaction with atmospheric carbon dioxide.
