It is designed to function as an emulsifier, wetting agent and profoaming additive for a variety of applications including: polyurethane foams, hard surface cleaners and polishes and cosmetic formulations. It exhibits inverse solubility versus temperature characteristics, becoming insoluble in water as temperature is increased to approximately 40c (104° F). This property suggests use as a defoamer for hot aqueous surfactant solutions. |
