Application | Phenyltrimethoxysilane is a colorless transparent liquid that is utilized in nanoelectronics and material science research. This organosilicate compound serves as a crosslinking agent for silicone resin and is used to create polymer organic silicon compounds. Additionally, trimethoxyphenylsilane (TMPS) can be used as a functional monomer in sol-gel processing and in the production of polytrimethoxyphenylsilane (PTMS) for the removal of graphene after chemical vapor deposition (CVD). TMPS is also essential for the synthesis of molecularly imprinted sol gels for the fabrication of localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR). |
