Hydrophobic precipitated silica ALOS-PS-004 is produced from precipitated, hydrated silicon dioxide with a specific surface area of 130-150 m2/g, followed by surface treatment with a high-hydrogen silicone oil. This modification process coats the silica particles, rendering their surfaces highly hydrophobic. The product appears as a light, fluffy white powder with excellent dispersibility. Additionally, thanks to its surface-encapsulation treatment, ALOS-PS-004 exhibits reduced moisture absorption, and improved compatibility with organic systems.

Applications
As a multifunctional additive, hydrophobic precipitated silica ALOS-PS-004 is widely used in fire extinguishing agents, animal feed, and other powdered materials due to its excellent flow control, and anti-caking properties.
- Fire extinguishing agents: In fire extinguishing agents, this product acts as an anti-agglomeration additive. Its hydrophobic surface treatment effectively reduces its moisture absorption rate, ensuring that dry powder extinguishing agents remain free-flowing and stable during long-term storage and rapid discharge.
- Animal feed: In animal feed, it is used as an anti-caking and free-flowing agent. By improving the flowability of feed powders and reducing clumping caused by humidity, ALOS-PS-004 enhances handling, dosing accuracy, and overall processing efficiency.
- Other powdered materials: In other powdered materials such as fertilizers and pigments, ALOS-PS-004 functions as a performance additive that improves dispersion, reduces inter-particle friction, and increases resistance to moisture.
Packaging
Standard packaging is 20 kg heavy-duty polyethylene (HDPE) bags. In addition, we provide customized packaging options to accommodate specific customer requirements, including alternative bag sizes and special labeling.
