Hydrophobic precipitated silica ALOS-PS-005 is produced from silica-grade precipitated hydrated silicon dioxide with a specific surface area of 130-150 m²/g, followed by treatment with high-hydroxyl silicone oil. The modification process involves both surface coating, and in-situ modification, which effectively converts the originally hydrophilic silica into a highly hydrophobic, material.

The product is widely used in plastics, high-temperature mixing rubbers, and a broad range of silicone elastomers, where it improves mechanical strength, thermal stability, and long-term durability.

• Plastics: In plastics, this product acts as a reinforcing and anti-blocking additive. It improves stiffness, scratch resistance, and dimensional stability while reducing moisture sensitivity. Its hydrophobic nature helps prevent agglomeration, ensuring uniform dispersion and smooth surface appearance in products such as engineering plastics, masterbatches, and modified thermoplastics.
• High-temperature mixed rubbers: In high-temperature mixed rubber systems, ALOS-PS-005 provides strong reinforcement, enhancing tensile strength, and abrasion resistance. It also improves thermal stability during high-shear mixing and curing.
• Silicone elastomers: In silicone elastomers, ALOS-PS-005 functions as a key reinforcing filler and rheology control agent. It increases mechanical strength while maintaining elasticity.

Packaging

Standard packaging is 20 kg heavy-duty polyethylene (HDPE) bags. In addition, we provide customized packaging options to accommodate specific customer requirements, including alternative bag sizes and special labeling.
