Hydrophobic Precipitated Silica ALOS-PS-006

Hydrophobic precipitated silica ALOS-PS-006 is produced by treating precipitated hydrated silica with hydroxyl silicone oil. Through a surface-coating modification process, the silica particles become highly hydrophobic, significantly improving their compatibility with organic and polymeric systems. Thanks to its high surface area and excellent dispersibility, ALOS-PS-006 is widely used in liquid silicone rubber (LSR), plastics, and pigment formulations.

• Liquid silicone rubber (LSR): In liquid silicone rubber, this product acts as reinforcing filler that improves tensile strength, tear resistance, and elasticity. It also helps control viscosity and thixotropy, ensuring stable processing and uniform flow during molding or casting.
• Plastics: In plastic compounds, ALOS-PS-006 enhances mechanical strength, dimensional stability, and surface quality. Its hydrophobic surface improves dispersion in non-polar polymer matrices, leading to better processing performance and reduced moisture sensitivity.

Packaging

Standard packaging is 20 kg heavy-duty polyethylene (HDPE) bags. In addition, we provide customized packaging options to accommodate specific customer requirements, including alternative bag sizes and special labeling.
