Applications
- Rubber industry: In rubber formulations, precipitated silica ALOS-PS-002 is used as reinforcing filler. It improves tensile strength, tear resistance, abrasion resistance, and overall durability of rubber products such as tires, hoses, seals, and industrial rubber goods. Its high surface area and good dispersion help enhance performance while maintaining flexibility.
- Coatings: In coatings, this product functions as a matting agent and rheology modifier. It helps control gloss, improve scratch resistance, and enhance the uniformity of the coating film. Its strong adsorption and dispersibility contribute to better stability, anti-settling behavior, and consistent appearance.
- Plastics: In plastic applications, this product is used as a functional filler to improve mechanical strength, thermal stability, and dimensional control. For example, in some engineering plastics, such as polyamides and polycarbonates, the addition of precipitated silica can significantly improve their mechanical properties, enabling them to meet more demanding application requirements. Furthermore, ALOS-PS-002 also enhances surface finish and processability while maintaining transparency in certain formulations.
- Inks: In the ink industry, this product is used as a thickening and anti-settling agent. It improves ink viscosity control, prevents pigment settling, and enhances print clarity and uniform color distribution. Its adsorption properties help stabilize pigments and additives within the ink system.
- Feed: In animal feed, precipitated silica ALOS-PS-002 acts as an anti-caking and flow agent. It improves the free-flowing properties of powdered feed, prevents clumping caused by moisture, and helps maintain uniform mixing of nutrients, ensuring consistent feed quality.
- Toothpaste: In toothpaste formulations, precipitated silica ALOS-PS-002 is widely used as both a mild abrasive and a thickening agent. It helps effectively remove dental plaque and surface stains without damaging tooth enamel. At the same time, it has better dispersibility and stability, helping the toothpaste achieves the desired viscosity and texture, ensuring good extrusion from the tube and a good mouthfeel.
