Excellent reactivity

Silazide compounds have organic and inorganic groups, which can react with organic and inorganic substances, and have special reactivity:

• Inorganic reactivity: Covalent bonds formed by oxygen and silicon atoms to form siloxane-type bonds.
• Organic reactivity: It occurs in organosilanes as well as the organic moiety of silane compounds, not directly involving silicon atoms. The organic functional moiety can be polymerized with the organic matrix. The reactivity of organic groups attached to Si is similar to that of organic analogs in C chemistry.
