Description | The production of silicone oil is to produce a substantially linear polymer in a wide range of average kinematic viscosities. It is highly soluble in organic solvents, such as aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, and halocarbon propellants for aerosols. The liquid can be easily emulsified in water using standard emulsifiers and conventional emulsification techniques. But it is insoluble in water and many organic products. Generally, the viscosity used when formulating polishes is between 100 and 30,000 cst. For best results, it is preferable to use a mixture of low-viscosity fluid and high-viscosity fluid in terms of ease of use and depth of gloss. (For example, 3 parts of 100cst and 1 part of 12,500cst). Low-viscosity silicone oil can be used as a lubricant to make grinding and wiping easier, while high-viscosity silicone oil can produce greater gloss. Because these polymers are inherently hydrophobic, they cause water to bead on the treated surface without penetrating into the polishing film. |

Application | The purpose of Dimethyl Silicone Fluid 5-100000Cst, a viscous colorless liquid, is versatile and multifaceted. It can be used as emulsifiers in the fermentation process with a maximum usage amount of 0.2g/kg. Additionally, it serves as advanced lubricants, anti-vibration oil, insulating oil, defoamers, release agents, polishes, and vacuum diffusion pump oil. Moreover, it can be utilized as a paint for the prevention of moisture and rust on metal surfaces, as well as a coating for building surfaces to prevent water damage. It is also used as an additive in hardening polyurethane foams, and has a wide range of applications including as adhesives, lubricants, protective coatings, coolants, mold release agents, dielectric fluids, heat transfer agents, surfactants, foam stabilizers for polyurethanes, antifoaming agents for liquids, textile finishes, water repellents, rust preventives, coatings, molding compounds, laminates, filament winding sealants, electrical insulation, bonding agents, modifier for resins, vibration-damping devices, encapsulation of electronic parts, gaskets, surgical membranes and implants, automobile engine components, flexible windows for masks, airlocks, and various mechanical products. Silicone oil, a low viscosity liquid polymerized siloxanes with organic side chains, is used for applications such as protective coatings for building materials, a cosmetic additive, a dielectric coolant, a lubricant and antiflatulent agent, and as a heat transferring medium in chemical and petrochemical industries. |
